Terms and Conditions

MruAirportTransfers.com is a label of TravelThru.com. TravelThru.com is the operator for all reservations made through MruAirportTransfers.com. TravelThru covers nearly every corner of the world with operations in 150+ countries and 500+ airports, allowing customers to book services directly on our website with confidence.

1. General

The following Terms and Conditions of TravelThru.com apply to all contracts and services between TravelThru.com (operating as MruAirportTransfers.com) and their clients. Any conflicting Terms and Conditions of the client will be expressly contradicted.

2. Realization of the Contract

TravelThru.com acts solely as a transfer broker and forwards clients' requests to selected transfer service providers. When making a booking through MruAirportTransfers.com, clients' transfer requests are immediately relayed to transfer service providers, confirmed by TravelThru.com via email, and sent back to the client as a non-binding reservation request. The contract yielding the actual transfer service is made exclusively between the client and the transfer service provider. A binding reservation confirmation is then sent to the client in the name of the transfer service provider via email from TravelThru.com. TravelThru.com does not execute any transfers themselves.

3. Content of Contract

3.1. Contract Details

The content of the accepted transfer contract between the transfer service provider and the client (date, route, pick-up time, number of passengers, and transfer price) is taken from the details in the binding reservation confirmation provided by the transfer service provider. Additional requests and/or information, such as meeting points, are also to be confirmed directly to the client by the appointed transfer service providers.

3.2. Child Transportation

If children are being transported, it is the client's responsibility to specify during booking how many children will be traveling and their ages. In the booking interface, clients can select the number of child seats/restraints needed for the transfer. The transfer service provider will send a booking confirmation listing the requested extra services. If this information is not provided at the time of booking, transport cannot be guaranteed, and applicable rules will be enforced.

3.3. Delays and Communication

Unscheduled delays caused by the transfer service providers (e.g., due to traffic conditions, roadworks, or weather conditions) may result in extended waiting times for the client. If the client is aware of a flight delay, it is their responsibility to inform the transfer service provider immediately via telephone.

All communication regarding adjusted pick-up times must be conducted directly between the client and the transfer service provider. If the client fails to inform the transfer service provider about a known delay, the transfer will be charged as a no-show as outlined in Section 5. A transfer for late arrival can be ordered by telephone directly from the transfer service provider (additional fees apply).

3.4. Service Improvement

By completing a booking, the client agrees to participate in surveys designed to improve our service. These surveys may be conducted by email or telephone. The client can decline participation by deactivating this option in their profile.

4. Transfer Price and Payment

4.1. Pricing and Charges

The price indicated on the reservation confirmation from the transfer service provider is binding as long as the transfer is carried out as booked. The final transfer price, including credit card fees and optional extra charges (accompaniment services), will be charged to the provided credit card or selected method of payment at the time of booking. Extra charges (e.g., excess baggage, extra kilometers, extended waiting periods) may be charged the following business day after the transfer is completed.

4.2. Credit Card Payment

For credit card payments, the traveler must provide a valid credit card with sufficient funds.

5. No-Show and Extended Waiting Period Fees

5.1. Airport Waiting Time

For airport pickup transfers, the transfer service provider allows a waiting time of 30 minutes. The airport waiting time begins at the official landing time indicated by the airport authority. If the actual arrival time is earlier than the scheduled arrival time, the client is required to wait for the driver.

5.2. No-Show Fees

If the client does not appear at the predetermined pick-up time and/or meeting point, cannot be contacted within the waiting time, and did not inform the transfer provider about the delay, the full transfer cost (100%) will be charged as a no-show fee.

5.3. Extended Waiting Period Fees

If the client contacts the transfer service provider within the free waiting period and requests to proceed with the booked transfer, the following additional fees will apply after the free waiting period ends:

  • 1-20 minutes after the free waiting period: 0%
  • After 20 minutes: 100% charge
  • Any extra parking fees will be charged

6. No-Show of the Transfer Service Provider

If the transfer service provider does not appear at the predetermined airport meeting point within 20 minutes after the official landing time (as per airport arrivals) or at other pick-up addresses and cannot be contacted by telephone, the client may arrange alternative transportation (taxi or public transport). The costs incurred will be refunded to the client on behalf of the transfer service provider by TravelThru.com after receiving the transfer receipt and proof of payment. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Complaints and refund requests must be submitted within 3 days from the completion of the trip via email to info@travelthru.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line. TravelThru.com will not participate in resolving disputes submitted after this period.

7. Changes, Cancellation, and Cancellation Fees

7.1. Changes to Confirmed Transfers

If the client wishes to make changes to a confirmed transfer, this can only be done through the booking engine if processed outside the cancellation fee period. Changes within the cancellation fee period must be arranged directly between the client and the transfer service provider. If the transfer service provider cannot accommodate the changes, a cancellation fee will be charged. Transfers already charged and paid for by credit card cannot be amended; they must be fully canceled and then rebooked.

7.2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, a 100% cancellation fee applies.

8. Liability

8.1. Scope of Liability

TravelThru.com is liable to the client only for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence by TravelThru.com or its authorized representatives, in accordance with applicable legal regulations. The transfer service providers are independent contractors, not representatives of TravelThru.com. TravelThru.com is also liable for death, personal injury, or health damages caused by negligence attributable to TravelThru.com or its authorized representatives. For property and financial damages caused by ordinary negligence, TravelThru.com's liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations, with compensation limited to foreseeable, typical damages. Essential contractual obligations are those that are necessary for the proper execution of the contract and on which clients can reasonably rely.

8.2. Missed Connections

Liability for costs associated with missed connections, especially for air and train travel, is explicitly excluded.

8.3. Exceptions

The exclusion and limitation of liability shall not apply in cases where, in accordance with the Product Liability Act, there was an assumption of warranty or fraudulent concealment of a defect.

9. Data Protection

TravelThru.com complies with all applicable data protection regulations regarding the collection, processing, and storage of clients' personal data. Personal information required for fulfilling transfer contracts will be processed and shared with the relevant transfer service provider.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

TravelThru.com implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure.

10. Severability Clause

If any provisions in this contract are or become wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, or if any gaps are found, this shall not affect the remaining provisions of this contract. To rectify such discrepancies, the parties undertake to reach an agreement to replace the invalid or unenforceable provisions with terms that correspond as closely as possible to the commercial purpose of those provisions.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on MruAirportTransfers.com including text, graphics, logos, images, and software is the property of TravelThru.com and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is prohibited without express written consent.

13. Force Majeure

Neither TravelThru.com nor any transfer service provider shall be liable for any failure to perform their obligations where such failure is a result of acts of nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, or other events beyond reasonable control.

14. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable local laws. Where any provision in these terms conflicts with consumer rights legislation, such rights shall prevail.
